About Us
Yojo Mobile, Inc. was founded in November of 2005 by Peter Olfe, a mobile industry veteran with extensive industry experience. It is the company's shared vision that cell phones will become the central devices in our lives. In addition to its inherent communication functions, the cell phone will also serve as:
- Our local guide to business and entertainment
- Our mobile wallets
- Our entertainment medium
- Our advertising medium
The U.S. has been very slow to move in this direction as compared to Asia. We see one of the most crucial barriers to this being usability and the cost to end-users.
We are striving to create simple, yet compelling services and to offer them free to end-users, while introducing a new and powerful advertising medium to businesses.
